PIANO COMPETITION
The FIPMA'25 Piano Competition is open to all active festival participants and consists of four age categories:
Participants must register in the corresponding category based on age, and in exceptional cases, they may request participation in a higher category.
Students wishing to participate in the competition must pay a non-refundable fee of 30 euros, in addition to the booking fee for a spot.
The competition consists of a semifinal and a final where participants can perform a free repertoire. The repertoire performed in the semifinal will be different from that in the final. The time limit for each participant in each category will be:
The semifinal will be on July 23, and the final on July 25. The jury will decide the contestants advancing to the final, with a maximum of three finalists per category. The jury may limit the established timing for each category for organizational reasons.
Third, second, or first prizes will be awarded as deemed appropriate by the jury. All winners will receive a certificate sent via email. Only the Absolute First Prize winner in each category (the contestant with the highest score) will receive a cash prize.
Prizes:
Additionally, the jury will grant four Special Prizes to performers from Malaga, sponsored by the Musical Foundation of Malaga, each endowed with 250 euros. The scope of the Musical Foundation of Malaga is primarily the City of Malaga, exceptionally extendable to its province.

This year, the jury will also award a special prize sponsored by Tune 440, providing tuning and adjustment of the selected student's piano among Malaga participants residing in Malaga city or adjacent areas.
