Born in Málaga in 1973, he began his musical studies at the age of 9, consistently achieving the highest grades. In 1984, he won the first prize at the National Piano Competition "Marisa Montiel" in Linares (Jaén), as well as the trophy for musicality at the children's level. He completed his Elementary Degree studies with the Honor Award, under the tutelage of Mrs. Julia Casquero. In January 1990, he won the First Prize at the National Piano Competition "Gregorio Baudot" in Ferrol (La Coruña).

In May 1991, he obtained the Third Prize at the National Piano Competition "Marisa Montiel" at the youth level. In 1992, at the Young Performers Showcase in Málaga, he won the First Prize (solo piano), which led him to perform in the winners' recital held at the Teatro Cervantes. He completed his Intermediate Degree studies with the Honor Mention, under the direction of Mr. Horacio Socías. He received the Honor Award in Chamber Music upon finishing his Intermediate Degree.

In 1993, he achieved the Second Prize at the Young Performers Showcase in Málaga with the general participation of instruments. That same year, he received an Honor Mention at the National Piano Competition of Juventudes Musicales in Albacete. In 1994, he won the First Prize at the Young Performers Showcase in Málaga at the Superior Level. As a result, he collaborated in the recording of a CD and performed a concert at the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga.

He has attended perfection courses with Professors G. Carmassi, Greorgy Sandór, Manuel Carra, Guillermo González, Ana Guijarro, Leonel Morales, Pilar Bilbao, Almudena Cano, among others. In the 1993/94 academic year, he completed his higher piano studies with the Honor Mention, being taught by Mr. José Felipe Díaz Álvarez-Estrada. He has been a finalist in the National Competitions of Granada, Melilla, Carlet (Valencia), and Albacete, obtaining the Fourth Prize in the last two. He has performed in a cycle of young talents organized by Juventudes Musicales in Seville. He received the Third Prize at the National Piano Competition Ciudad de Albacete.

He continued his studies for two years in Seville under the direction of Ms. Pilar Bilbao, Professor and Concert Pianist. He has collaborated with the Málaga Opera Choir as a Repetiteur. He has served as a juror in various national and international competitions. He is invited as a professor to various advanced training courses. He has performed as a soloist with different orchestras under the direction of Octav Calleya, Dorian Wilson, Francisco de Gálvez, Juan Baeza, Maria Del Mar Muñoz, and Alberto Navarrete, with great success. He is the President of the Pianistic Association of Málaga and the General Director of the International Piano Festival of Málaga (FIPMA). His students have received numerous awards in national and international competitions. He is currently a Professor at the "Manuel Carra" Professional Conservatory in Málaga.
