Masterclasses
FIPMA'25 boasts an exceptional faculty of professors from the world's finest musical institutions. Representatives of top schools and piano traditions will guide the FIPMA students.
Date and Schedule
Classes will take place daily from Friday, July 18, to Saturday, July 26, preferably in the morning.
Active Students
- Active students in modalities A and B will receive 5 classes of 45 minutes each from different professors, whom they will request during their registration. The organization, after a preliminary selection and to the best of its ability, will try to honor their preferences. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to attend all masterclasses and lectures by the faculty during the festival, as well as actively participate in workshops and student concerts.
- All active students will have access to a practice room with a grand piano daily.
- Active students enrolled in modality A interested in performing as soloists with the Malaga Symphony Orchestra must participate in the selection test held during the festival. The jury will consist of faculty members.
Auditing Students
- Auditing students can also attend all masterclasses and lectures by the faculty during the festival, as well as student concerts and workshops. However, they cannot receive classes from the faculty or actively participate in the concerts.
Location
The festival will take place at the "Manuel Carra" Professional Conservatory of Music in the city of Malaga, a superbly equipped center with numerous classrooms and instruments for the successful development of masterclasses.
